About

Delia Johnson is a freelance writer, illustrator, presenter, performer and art historian.

 She has written and developed comedy scripts for national radio, and written, produced and presented radio arts reviews. She has created and performed numerous cabaret shows, headlining at jazz venues including Pizza on the Park.

 In 2017 she co-created, co-wrote and designed the visual concept for a 4,000-seat sell-out show at the Royal Albert Hall starring Sir Derek Jacobi, Samantha Bond, and Sanjeev Bhaskar. 

 She has written features for a variety of magazines, and her illustration has been exhibited in London and Dubai. 

She has worked as a multimedia art director, sound editor and animator. She has also worked in the education departments of the National Gallery and the V&A group, and is a volunteer curatorial assistant in the British Museum’s Department of Greece and Rome.

She has degrees from Cambridge Art School and Leeds School of Fine Art and History of Art. 

 She lives in London.
